In a stunning turn of events in the feud between billionaire SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and President Donald Trump, an account with only 17 followers on the social media platform X has managed, in just three sentences, to convince Musk to be open to reconciling with Trump.
In a post published on X, user @Fab25june, replied to one of Musk’s tweets saying, “This is a shame, this back and forth. You are both better than this. Cool off and take a step back for a couple of days.”
Musk then replied to the user, saying, “Good advice. Ok, we won’t decommission Dragon.”

Not only does it appear that the post convinced Musk to step back from his attack on the president and the “big, beautiful bill,” but it also preserved the future of space exploration, at least for now.
However, there are two individuals involved in this spat. According to CNN, the other party, President Trump, is not, at this moment, ready to bury the hatchet.
On Friday, Trump told the left-leaning network that he’s “not even thinking about” Elon Musk and isn’t interested in talking to him in the near future.
“I’m not even thinking about Elon. He’s got a problem. The poor guy’s got a problem,” Trump said in an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash.
The two important cultural icons were sparring back and forth, viciously, on social media Thursday, allowing the public online to watch the implosion of their relationship in real time.
President Trump said, at that time, he was “very disappointed” with Musk for the criticisms he verbalized concerning the “big, beautiful bill,” a rather large tax and spending cuts package. The billionaire tech guru responded by saying that “Trump would have lost the election” if not for his involvement.
During the call with Bash, Trump spoke on the issues of inflation, gas prices, and the release of May’s jobs report. When asked if had spoken on the phone with Musk, Trump said, “No. I won’t be speaking to him for a while I guess, but I wish him well.”
While the two political and cultural powerhouses warred with each other, friends of the two men attempted to smooth things over and create a truce.
Billionaire investor Bill Ackman wrote on X, “I support @realDonaldTrump and @elonmusk and they should make peace for the benefit of our great country. We are much stronger together than apart.”
Musk then responded to Ackman, saying, “You’re not wrong.”
