In a sadly typical display of casual disrespect during a press conference, Democrat Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) advocated that his party resist President Donald Trump, “in the streets,” in remarks which many viewed as a call to political violence.

During his remarks, Jeffries ironically implied that the MAGA agenda is “extreme.” Given the Democrats’ radical positions on gender, the climate, and immigration, this is deeply ironic. The woke ideologue also falsely claimed that the end goal of MAGA is to aid billionaires, which, given Trump’s tariffs and anti-globalism, is absurd.

As we reported, he began by lying through his teeth. The New York Democrat said, “Right now, we’re going to keep focused on the need to look out for everyday New Yorkers and everyday Americans who are under assault by an extreme MAGA Republican agenda that is trying to cut taxes for billionaire donors and wealthy corporations and then stick New Yorkers and working class Americans across the country with the bill.”

Continuing his absurd claims, he claimed the  MAGA agenda is “not acceptable” and must be fought “in the streets,” not just in the courts and legislature. He said, “That’s not acceptable. We are going to fight it legislatively. We’re going to going to fight it in the courts, and we’re going to fight it in the streets.”

Unsurprisingly, Hakeem’s fellow Democrats appeared to agree with him. Supporting his extremist rhetoric, Rep. Jared Huffman (D-CA) said, “House Democrats are now fully engaged. The bell has rung. I think we see this for the constitutional test that it is, and we’re going to be aggressively pushing back.”

Running cover for Jeffries’ vile rhetoric, the  Democrat claimed that the idea of a “street fight” is a good one and that it would have been impossible to “put it better.” He said, “Leader Jeffries described it as a legal fight, a legislative fight, and a street fight. And I couldn’t put it better.”

Slamming the woke democrat for his violent rhetoric,  the GOP condemned Jeffries for his remarks, The Trump White House released a statement saying, “At a press conference this morning in Brooklyn, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) made a sick call for violence and incited his followers to “fight” President Trump’s agenda “in the streets.” Will Minority Leader Jeffries apologize for this disgusting threat? Or will he double down on the same calls for violence that have plagued the country for years?”

Reacting to the inflammatory rhetoric, one conservative social media user posted,”🚨JUST ANNOUNCED: House Minority Democratic Party Leader Hakeem Jeffries Temu Obama/ Dollar Store Obama calls for violence as he says people must “fight” President Trump’s agenda in the streets. Insane! The Dems call for #impeachTrumpNow. The Dems call for violence now! STFU! DEI = Didn’t Earn It”

In the comments under this post, conservatives expressed their displeasure with the press conference. One such comment read, “🤣 Temu Obama, the excessively self-congratulatory wanna be President. He prioritizes his virtuous appearance over taking any substantive actions to address the societal issues that he props himself up on. Besides, these people can’t fight their way out of a wet paper bag.”
