DJ Daniel, the 13-year-old boy who survived brain cancer and has since been made an honorary police officer in over a thousand police departments around the nation, sounded off on Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) when meeting with Border Patrol officials to be made an honorary member of the US Border Patrol.

That came on Thursday, May 15, when the 27th Border Patrol Chief, Michael W. Banks, took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that DJ had been made an honorary agent, saying, “Welcome our new honorary Border Patrol Agent Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel. DJ is an unstoppable force and a true inspiration. We know he will exemplify our motto of ‘Honor First’.”

It was during that meeting, when Daniel was standing around with his new friends on the room where the ceremony was conducted that he threw a major accusation and sly insult Jasmine Crockett’s way, alleging that she had mocked his head, which has patchy hair because of his brain cancer surgeries , and cracking a seriously funny joke about her appearance.

Beginning, DJ noted that he has been through over a dozen surgeries and his head looks patchy as a result, adding that one remember of Congress had mocked him for how he looks. He said, “I’ve been through 13 brain surgeries, that’s why my head looks like this. And let me say this, this one congresswoman was talking about my head …”

Continuing, DJ cracked his joke about the congresswoman, not having named her yet but getting his joke in regardless. He said, “But I said, ‘She can’t be talking because she looks like a burnt marshmallow!’” Ending, he finally told them which congresswoman it was that had mocked his appearance, saying, “Jasmine Crockett!”

As the video made its way across social media, it became quite clear that commenters on X loved what DJ had to say. One account, for example, “American Papa Bear,” which appears to have been one of the first to post the clip, wrote, “DJ Daniel calling Jasmine Crockett a burnt marshmallow is the funniest thing you’ll see today!! 😂🔥”

Similarly, another account noted that DJ is quite bright and sharp, particularly for being a boy with brain cancer, writing, “I can’t get enough of DJ Daniel. Every video I see of him is better than the previous one. Here he roasts Jasmine Crockett saying she looks like a “burnt marshmallow.” For someone dealing with brain cancer he’s far smarter and wittier than most people.”

It is unclear what exactly it was that Rep. Crockett said about DJ, if indeed she made a comment about him. What is known, however, is that when DJ was made an honorary Secret Service agent by President Trump during Trump’s Joint Address to Congress, the “deranged” Democrats refused to stand up and clap for him.

Commenters on X sounded off over that at the time. For example, Kristan Hawkins said, “Democrats refused to clap for a boy with brain cancer. Democrats refused to stand for Laken Riley or Jocelyn Nungaray. Democrats refused to clap for Payton McNabb who almost died after a man spiked a volleyball onto her head. The party of death.” An account named Dustin Mills said, “Democrats can’t even clap for an honorary secret service agent that had brain cancer??? Who would elect these people #StateOfTheUnion”
