In absolutely huge news for Americans who are sick and tired of seeing the worst criminals imaginable roam free thanks to soft-on-crime judbges and jurisdictions, President Donald Trump announced in a post on Truth Social that the federal government will be ruthlessly cracking down on criminality, to the point of re-opening the infamous Alcatraz prison and throwing our worst criminals in it.

As background, Alcatraz, which sits about a mile and a quarter out into the ocean off of San Francisco, California, used to house notorious criminals and gangsters, but was closed on March 21, 1963. The cold, shark-infested water surrounding it made it a perfect high-security prison for the notorious gangsters of the era, such as Al Capone, who were locked up within it.

Now, it appears that President Trump wants to reopen it to use for similarly violent, anti-social criminals. Such is what he announced on Truth Social, explaining that America has been plagued by awful criminals for far too long and that it is time to lock them up for good, as we did when we were a “more serious Nation.”

Beginning the post with a strong call to action and immediate explainer, the president said, REBUILD, AND OPEN ALCATRAZ! For too long, America has been plagued by vicious, violent, and repeat Criminal Offenders, the dregs of society, who will never contribute anything other than Misery and Suffering.”

Continuing, he explained that America used to have no issue locking criminals up and that such a mindset was a far better, more serious one. He said, “When we were a more serious Nation, in times past, we did not hesitate to lock up the most dangerous criminals, and keep them far away from anyone they could harm. That’s the way it’s supposed to be.”

Further emphasizing that point, the president said that it is high time America stops putting up with the awful criminals who have turned many of our once-great cities into living hells, saying, “No longer will we tolerate these Serial Offenders who spread filth, bloodshed, and mayhem on our streets.”

Then, getting to his point about Alcatraz and what will happen with it, the president said, “That is why, today, I am directing the Bureau of Prisons, together with the Department of Justice, FBI, and Homeland Security, to reopen a substantially enlarged and rebuilt ALCATRAZ, to house America’s most ruthless and violent Offenders.”

Concluding, he vowed to never let America be taken over by the criminals or the judges who aid them with soft-on-crime rulings, saying, “We will no longer be held hostage to criminals, thugs, and Judges that are afraid to do their job and allow us to remove criminals, who came into our Country illegally. The reopening of ALCATRAZ will serve as a symbol of Law, Order, and JUSTICE. We will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
