In an epic rant on Fox News Channel, top Trump advisor Stephen Miller, known for his hardline stance on immigration, sounded off on a foreign fraud ring that has been using fake Social Security numbers to steal up to a trillion dollars from US taxpayers, with the fraud totaling billions upon billions of dollars a year.

Commenting on the matter during his mid-February appearance on Fox News Channel, Miller explained that the many foreign nationals who have poured into the United States in past years, including millions upon millions of illegal immigrants, are using fake Social Security numbers to steal billions of dollars from federal programs like Social Security.

Beginning, he explained what is going on, with the fake identity and fake Social Security number issue being a very big deal in terms of scale, as there are so many illegal and legal immigrants here. He said, “Foreign nationals coming to the United States using fake Social Security numbers and fake identities to steal billions in taxpayers’ benefits.”

Continuing, Miller explained that while DOGE needs to do a full analysis of the situation, it appears that there could be a trillion dollars in fraud for Elon to crack down on, and that those doing much of the stealing are organized into “fraud and theft rings” that are intentionally stealing billions of dollars from the American taxpayers.

Making that point, Miller said, “There is no way to know until DOGE gains full access exactly how much money we’re talking about. But over a ten-year budget window, you could be talking about saving over $1 trillion by clamping down on massive fraud in our tax and entitlement systems, including, again, those carried out by organized fraud and theft rings.”

Commenters on the matter on X praised Miller and Trump for taking the matter of fraud and theft of the programs so seriously, saying things like, “This was big to find. I wish it meant those on social security would get a raise out of the poverty level” and “I love what D.O.G.E. is doing for the American taxpayer – Keep up the good work Elon.”

Elon Musk has drawn a great deal of attention to potential Social Security fraud as well. For example, in a tweet posted to X around the same time as Mr. Miller’s comments to Fox News, Musk posted, “Yes, there are FAR more “eligible” social security numbers than there are citizens in the USA. This might be the biggest fraud in history.”

That was in a reply to a comment on a post of his about the Social Security database showing unbelievably elderly people. In that now-famous post about “vampires,” Elon said, “According to the Social Security database, these are the numbers of people in each age bucket with the death field set to FALSE! Maybe Twilight is real and there are a lot of vampires collecting Social Security 🤣🤣”

Also drawing attention to the matter was Dan Bongino, who did so in his podcast. “He discovered a foreign fraud ring in our entitlement program. Folks, even if you are not Against Government Waste and you love government waste, I should say not to use a negative there to describe it,” he said to introduce the clip.

Continuing, Bondingo noted that the money hadn’t even been wasted on Americans, saying, “If you’re for government waste, at least wasted here, right? If you’re going to waste government money and piss it away in a toilet bowl, at least wasted on US citizens? Nope, they found nobody cares on the left.” Watch him here:
