In a senseless act of violence, an illegal immigrant killed a young Colorado woman during a high-speed crash. However, after he was arrested, District Attorney Amy Padden offered him a plea deal that allowed him to walk free without serving jail time. After he took a plea deal, whose identity has not been named because of laws that shield the identity of underage criminals, he was sentenced to  2 years of probation and some community service.

For context, liberal DAs across the nation have been proving that they have more loyalty to immigrants than to their countrymen. In many cases, illegal immigrants who commit horrific crimes are allowed to walk free when any normal citizen would be hit with harsh penalties.

In any case, John Weaver, the victim’s father, gave his reaction to Fox and Friends on June 9, 2025. He stated, “They said by doing two years’ probation, that’s probably more than the judge would give if he pleaded guilty,” adding, “you don’t have to participate in a bad system. If the judge wanted to sentence him to less, that’s the judge’s issue.”

Continuing his emotional rebuke, he said, “What happened in this case is you (prosecutors) created it into your issue. Now you’re part of the problem. We had a collision where the immigration system and the criminal justice system collided, and now my daughter’s dead.”

Concluding his remarks, Weaver spoke to his daughter’s character. He added, “She was an amazing human.  She spent her life trying to help people.” Joining the condemnation, Arapahoe County Assistant District Attorney Ryan Brackley blasted the poor decision.

He explained that he “unequivocally” disavows the teen’s “reckless and unlawful behavior, which had devastating and irreversible results.” Continuing, he said, “We acknowledge Kaitlyn Weaver’s death was the direct result of a crash caused by an unlicensed teenager driving at nearly twice the posted speed limit.”

Concluding the statement, he said, “This tragic loss is a powerful reminder that it is not just alcohol or drug-impaired driving that takes lives. Driving at dangerous speeds has deadly consequences too, and they are felt by our entire community.”

Reacting to the shocking news, prominent conservative influencer Libs of TikTok took to X to vent her feelings. She said, “SAY HER NAME: Kaitlyn Weaver. She was killed in CO by a 15-year-old illegal alien after he plowed into her with a car at over 90mph. Arapahoe District Attorney Amy Padden (D) has decided to give PROBATION and COMMUNITY SERVICE to the illegal without any jail time,” adding, “An innocent American is dead while her kiIIer walks free. INSANE.”

Agreeing, many users took to the comments to voice their emotions. One such comment read, “Kaitlyn would still be alive if Democrat politicians didn’t have such contempt for the American people. Now, the illegal immigrant who ended her life so carelessly will be back on the streets — free to do it again. If this doesn’t make you furious with the Democrat Party and their activist DAs and judges, you’re not nearly angry enough.”
